INTRODUCTION
Rangoli making is all about showing artistic creativity by using beautiful colours. Patterns are created on the floor using materials such as colours, flower petals, glitters etc. It is a way to express imagination. Keeping this in mind, Inter- House Rangoli making competition was organized for students of F.Y.B.Ed. and S.Y.B.Ed. Students participated with full zeal that one usually associates with festivities.
Students put in lots of effort and came up with amazing ideas. The students enthusiastically participated by showcasing their skills. This Rangoli making competition motivated the students to perform and outshine in their creative skills.
The judgement depended on the selection of the design, neatness, clarity, colour combination and creativity by the students to make their designs more presentable.
We had this competition today, and all the students were working together as groups to make beautiful Rangoli.
So we were all given some colors and only 1 hour to make whatever rangoli design we have. We did our best to just make a clean one out.
Our purpose was to enjoy quality time and not to win and we really enjoyed it. Rangoli art is a traditional form of welcoming good luck, and its popularity has remained unaffected over the years. Rangoli competitions are one of the most popular activities during festivals. Rangoli is a spiritual distribution of colours and thus is considered a harbinger of good luck. Most of the rangoli designs maintain symmetry like a yin and yang symbol or a swastika. And, worldwide, across all religions, symmetrical designs are considered as a symbol of prosperity, luck, and growth.
