Ashadeep Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya celebrated Marathi Bhasha Divas on 27th February 2025 with great enthusiasm to honor the rich heritage of the Marathi language and literature. The program began with lamp lighting and a tribute to poet Kusumagraj (Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar).
A Marathi book exhibition displayed works of eminent authors like P. L. Deshpande, V. S. Khandekar, and Shivaji Sawant, followed by poetry recitations, speeches, storytelling, and a skit showcasing the evolution of the Marathi language. A quiz competition on Marathi literature and grammar engaged students and enhanced their linguistic awareness.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by faculty members, expressing gratitude to all participants. The celebration strengthened pride in the Marathi language and inspired students to preserve and promote their mother tongue.
