Ashadeep Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya celebrated Makar Sankranti on 13th January 2025 with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration began with a traditional puja, symbolizing prosperity and new beginnings, followed by vibrant rangoli decorations that enhanced the festive spirit.
Students and staff participated in kite-flying, folk dances, and songs, reflecting the rich cultural traditions of the festival. Teachers highlighted the importance of unity, gratitude, and harmony with nature, while traditional sweets like tilgul and chikki were distributed, spreading goodwill and happiness.
Fun activities such as tug-of-war and musical chairs added excitement to the event. A short session on charity and social welfare inspired students to contribute to the community.
