Ashadeep Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya organized a field visit for B.Ed. students on 28th March 2025 to Mamoosha Smruti, providing hands-on exposure to the art of statue-making and its educational relevance. The visit aimed to enhance students’ understanding of creativity, observation, and experiential learning in teaching.
Participants observed the entire process of sculpting, molding, and painting, guided by skilled artisans who explained the use of materials like clay, fiber, wood, and metal. The visit also highlighted how visual and vocational arts can be integrated into education to promote creativity and skill-based learning.
An interactive session allowed aspiring teachers to discuss ways of incorporating art into lesson plans to make learning more engaging. The experience provided valuable insights into experiential and art-based pedagogy, encouraging future educators to adopt innovative teaching practices.
