Celebration Activities

The Novena celebration at ASHADEEP B.Ed College is a solemn and spiritually enriching event that involves various activities aimed at nurturing faith, fostering a sense of unity, and deepening the spiritual connection among participants.

  • Nine Days of Prayer:

The Novena began nine days before the special feast day, and each day had a specific theme and focus for prayer and reflection. Students and faculty gathered in the college chapel for these daily prayer sessions, seeking spiritual guidance and strength.

  • Liturgy and Mass:

A special liturgy and Mass were conducted on the final day of the Novena, which coincided with the feast day or event being celebrated. This Mass was a central and deeply spiritual part of the celebration, attended by all members of the college community.

  • Catechism and Spiritual Talks:

Informative catechism sessions and spiritual talks were organized throughout the Novena period. Knowledgeable speakers and clergy members were invited to address the students, providing insights into the religious significance of the event and its relevance in modern life.

  • Procession and Devotional Songs:

A procession featuring religious icons and images was organized, with students and faculty joining in a solemn march around the campus. Devotional songs and hymns were sung during the procession, creating an atmosphere of devotion and reverence.

  • Feast and Fellowship:

Following the Mass, a communal feast was organized, where students, faculty, and staff shared a meal together. This fostered a sense of unity and community among the participants.
