NAVRATRI CELEBRATION REPORT (2017-18) – Ashadeep Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya

                 Navratri, a vibrant and culturally rich festival celebrated across India, is a nine-night festival dedicated to the worship of the goddess Durga. At ASHADEEP B.Ed College, Navratri is celebrated with great enthusiasm, showcasing the cultural diversity and fostering a sense of unity among students, faculty, and staff.

Celebration Activities

The Navratri Celebration at ASHADEEP B.Ed College is a lively and colorful event that encompasses various activities and rituals over nine days.

  • Garba and Dandiya Raas:

                      The highlight of Navratri celebration is the Garba and Dandiya Raas dance performances. Students, faculty, and staff come together dressed in traditional attire, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Expert dancers are invited to lead the dances, and participants join in the festivities, dancing to traditional and contemporary music.

  • Goddess Durga Pooja:

        Each day begins with a Goddess Durga pooja (worship) ceremony in the college temple. Students actively participate in the rituals, offering prayers and seeking blessings for knowledge and wisdom.

  • Traditional Decorations: 

        The college is beautifully decorated with colorful rangoli (artistic floor designs), marigold flowers, and decorative lights to create a festive ambiance.
