All the students were gathered to the college campus by 7:00am. The programme namely ‘Raasgarba’ was our actual event. It started with the prayer that included the participation of all the teachers as well as students. Further our B.Ed. student Diana Mashalkar acknowledged us about the importance of this festival celebration. “This festival is a nine-day celebration where each day is celebrated as an owner to our Devis, also concluded by specific colours” Further DJ was organized for Raasgarba. Students and teachers made group circle and enjoyed it by playing ‘Hathtali’. All the students were dressed in ethnic and some even in the actual garba attire i.e., “Chaniya choli”. Students participated with great enthusiasm. All of them celebrated the day with joy and cheer. It was a colourful event with teachers joining the students enthusiastically in their dance. The event became an excellent example of celebration of tradition with joy and fervour at its fullest.
